DREAM HOUSE DESIGN CAMP

Who:      Ages 5+
When:    August 5-7, Tuesday - Thursday, 9:30am - 2:30pm
Cost:       $250   (includes IKEA doll house + peg people family)

Three days of design fun from blueprints to wallpaper to furnishings plus all the things that make Community Art Garden so special like our sensory kitchen, daily potions play and beautiful studio environment.

Campers will be invited to design and create the home of their dreams! Using our amazing array of natural, found and curated art materials, campers are invited to consider what elements to add to their houses from paint to furnishings to who will live there. Choice of IKEA large doll house or tiny house.

Schedule:
9:30 Drop off / Stations & free choice
9:45 Gathering circle explain morning projects / snack time / story time
10:00 - 11:00 open studio + stations (free choice art play + tinker time, designing + decorating houses, sensory play, potions, etc)
11:00 clean up —> play outside or go for walk to stream spot
12:00-12:20 LUNCH
12:20-12:40 quiet activities - spin art, sensory bins, drawing, watercolor seashells
1:00-2:00 outside play / outdoor process art stations (chalk potion play, parachute games on the last day, water play)
2:00-2:30 ending story and sharing time
2:30 pick up on porch or outside

We ask that everyone please send a water bottle, a morning snack and a sack lunch (enough food for your child for the day). Please label everything in case children have the same gear. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

Camp is run by studio owner Emily Burkland and staff.
