Tree Forts & Fairy Houses

Who:      Ages 5+
When:   July 15-17, 2024, Tuesday - Thursday, 9:30am - 2:30pm
Cost:       $220  

• Natural art play centered around nature magic with sensory stations and open ended choice based art invitations.

• Materials provided: large tree “cookies” to use as house bases and the wild array of natural findings in our curated studio collection including willow, pinecones, dried flowers, stones, shells, and more. Friends will be invited to build a tiny tree fort or a fairy house or anything they like with the materials provided.

• We will draw in our own nature journals to plan and create our dream tree forts and nature homes.

Schedule:
9:30 Drop off / Stations & free choice
9:45 Gathering circle explain morning projects / snack time
10:00 - 11:00 Art stations (making instruments, masks, puppets, etc)
11:00 clean up —> play outside or go for walk
12:00-12:20 LUNCH
12:20-12:40 quiet activities
1:00-2:00 outside play
2:15 sharing circle
2:30 pick up on porch or outside

We ask that everyone please send a water bottle, a morning snack and a sack lunch (enough food for your child for the day). Please label everything in case children have the same gear. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

Camp is taught by studio owner Emily Burkland and staff.
