This program for children ages 4-8 is scheduled to run Mondays and/or Wednesdays at Community Art Garden starting October, 2024 and is taught by Community Art Garden owner, Emily Burkland and staff.  The class follows the natural rhythm of the children with ample time for child lead free play. The day will include music, art, snack and sack (packed) lunch. Outside time will include walks around town, to the library, footbridge, and to the water as weather allows, or free play on the back lawn.  There will be focus on Process Art with different art stations, sensory tables, and hands on art available each day.
 

Daily schedule:  (tentative)

10:00-10:20  arrival / morning stations
10:20   Walk to snack spot
10:30   snack (provided) 
10:45-11:45  stations / free choice
12:00-12:20   LUNCH (either picnic or inside)
12:20-12:40  story time / journals / quiet stations
12:45-1:45 OUTSIDE
1:45  Second sharing / Farewell circle

Snow day make up days will be announced and made up on Tuesdays as needed.
