Set sail for a Community Art ADVENTURE once or twice a month with our ArtCrew! This play based program for children ages 6-12 runs one Monday a month and is taught by Community Art Garden owner, Emily Burkland. The class follows the natural rhythm of the children with ample time for child led free play and hands on science and art exploration.

Outside time will include walks around town, to the library, the garden, and to the river as weather allows, or free play on the back lawn.  There will be focus on Process Art with different art stations, sensory tables, and hands on art available each day. Community building games and music are woven into our day as well.
 

Daily schedule:  (tentative)

10:00-10:20  arrival / morning stations or outside drop off
10:20   snack (provided) 
10:45-11:45  stations / free choice
11:45 clean up
12:00-12:20   LUNCH (either picnic or inside)
12:20-12:40 journal time / quiet stations
12:45-1:45 OUTSIDE
1:45  sharing / Farewell circle
2:00 Pick up

Snow day make up days will be scheduled on Mondays as needed.
